Student Assembly - Movement and Learning

Every month, we organize a student assembly to create international cohesiveness and school spirit among students, teachers, and parents. These presentations vary greatly from literacy exercises to pep rallies to mindfulness activities. The first of these assemblies was on Thursday, August 18th, 2016 at Sukhumvit Campus. The theme of the assembly was “Movement and Learning”. The following topics were covered: • Movement and Brain Development: A demonstration on how movement creates positive effects on learning cognition, memory, and motivation. • Emotional Intelligence: A demonstration on how we can regulate our moods and emotions to perform our daily tasks and meet our responsibilities. Participants understood how learners of all ages can regulate their emotions through the practice of consistent breathing exercises. There was a good turnout and everyone benefited from the insights gained from the assembly.
