The American School of Bangkok Sukhumvit Campus is proud to announce the opening of several new facilities. These facilities have greatly enhance ASB’s ability to serve the needs of its students and prepare them for the unique challenges of the 21st Century.
A new four-story Elementary School Building opened in August 2020, and this facility includes 30 new classrooms, a library, a computer center, and science labs. The area in front of the new elementary school building has been converted into a new soccer field that provides a refreshing open air space in the middle of downtown Bangkok.
The school auditorium has been fully renovated with better lighting, a new sound system, improved flooring, a new stage, and the installation of an LED screen. This refurbishment supports the ASB performing and fine arts department’s activities, and provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform amidst professional backdrop, stage setup, and enchanting lights and sound.
A new automated parking structure has been completed at ASB’s front entrance and it can hold up to 60 cars.
In January 2021, the school added a new sports complex. This massive facility houses a standardized swimming pool, a professional sized basketball court, a jogging track, tennis courts, and the school’s very own coffee shop – the Center Point.
