On Saturday, March 20th, 2021, the ASB Sukhumvit campus sent both the U11 and U13 Boys football teams to Hua Hin to take part in the PSG True Arena Cup.
This competition was the first event some of our students had ever played in and they did amazing! Our U13 team played some tough PSG academy teams and after a day of grinding and improving they were able to win their first game of the season with a 3-0 win over PSG Ratchada.
The U11 team also had a tremendous tournament, with recording 3 wins, 1 draw and only 1 loss. Unfortunately, due to point difference they missed out on the finals but were able to win a hard bronze medal match against PP academy to win 6-4 to take home 3rd place! The U11 Goal Keeper Hitomaru Kumano was also awarded the best goal keeper of the tournament, which was well deserved considering he scored two goals himself!
Thank you to all the parents who also came all the way to Hua Hin to cheer, support, feed, give out umbrellas and take photos for us, it was a great day for the students and a great day for ASB Sukhumvit Campus.
