The Council of International Schools (CIS) Virtual International University Fair-Southeast Asia was held on Thursday, September 17th, 2020. Grades 11 and 12 students from the American School of Bangkok Sukhumvit Campus gathered in the school auditorium to attend this fair. Students watched quick video presentations which provided information about the fair and the features of the online platforms that were to be used on the day. After logging into the platforms, students were able to navigate and search for information about different college and universities.
Over 247 accredited CIS member universities from 23 countries were there to present information to students about admission requirements, curriculum, career planning, financial assistance, housing, sports and activities, scholarships, work study, ESL programs, and costs. Some of the participating institutions included the University of California, Berkeley, McGill University, University of Melbourne, and University of Edinburgh. The event was very informative for our juniors and seniors.
