Due to the new outbreak and increase in the COVID-19 infection cases across Thailand, the Thai Government, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Thai Ministry of Education has mandated the closure of many establishments and places including Thai local and international schools from January 4 - 31, 2021
In accordance with this mandate, The American School of Bangkok Sukhumvit Campus will be closed until January 31, 2021 or further notice. During this time the ASB Sukhumvit Campus has transitioned into a Virtual Learning (VL) mode. ASB teachers are available during regular school hours every day to provide online instruction and support to ASB child(ren). See videos and photos below.
We will continue to assess the situation and update you with any announcements from the Thai Government or Thai Ministry of Education on the reopening of schools in Bangkok, and our campus.
We kindly request our families to stay home as much as possible, continue to practice social distancing as a form of compassion for one another, and emphasize personal hygiene, use masks and hand-sanitizers.
